Now on to the problem I have. I played one of the movies on my PS3 and for some reason the normal speed it plays the movie at is actually 1.5 and that makes not only the movie go by fast but also the voice from all the characters sounds like the chipmunks. Does anyone else have the same problem or knows how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Sherlock holmes GOS 1080p had the problem but Tower Heist 1080p didn't. I guess its some of the movies. But still I am not complaining cause I got my trusty laptop. I will try the link and update tomorrow if it changes anything.

What seems to be the problem with some of YIFY rips and which movies?
its not a big problem but some movies like the beginners 2010 , Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close 2011( but this one re upload by yify) are not clear as others

ive had the same problem mate, the one i recall that played abit quicker on ps3 was sherlock homes720p, but it didnt bother me slighty cause you can still watch on comp just fine..
And a few like moneyball are cinevia protected but im guessing thats out of your control
Well I found a trick that works pretty well. I paused the movie on the PS3 and then held the R2 button which makes the movie go almost at the right speed. Still even with that I could see the choppiness in the movie. But it's not that significant and after a while I got used to it. Try it out and see if it works.
I had problems with cinavia, I disabled my internet connection on the ps3 everytime I wanted to watch a film, and it has been working for me.
But if you are using the media server way, I havent tried that way, but maybe stopping the internet connection from tracing the watermark on the film could work.

My uTorrent has a message under Trackers to GO TO YIFY due to some error. I tried the VIP DL and it stalled after 40 Mb. IS there a problem with the 1080p file?

Hey everyone ! I'm having trouble with the subtitles... Or is it normal to not see subtitles when the Germans / Italian dialogues come up ? Im using windows media player. I also use KMplayer but couldn't see the subs.. also got vlc player, and real player . PLEASE HELp thx guys
I would suggest using vlc player, it automatic loads subtitles, also you can change them if you like, I hoped that helped.

Ps3 is a shit media player! Get a wd TV live media player or similar media player and you will rarely have any problems! No cinivia and every yify rip I've downloaded plays perfectly! Ps3 might be good for playing games but not for watching rips!
Yea your right, ive got a bluray player that reads divx and it works fine on that. just like the ps3 media functions over my bluray player. rather plug laptop up to my tv using hdmi and watch thru vlc.. might look into that wd TV live media player u said tho, looks like a go
